Why I am Running

As a life-long learner with a commitment to higher education, I want to be a part of the resolution of issues facing the Northern Wyoming Community College/Sheridan College. I believe in the role of the community college to assist in a seamless transfer of students to university programs, the importance of the occupational and technical training offered by the school, and the opportunity for students of all walks of life to maximize their opportunities to succeed. The college also has the opportunity to come together with the community through curriculum, activities, and athletics (when it is once again affordable for SC).

When I join a board, I believe in leaving my ego outside the door, rolling up my sleeves, and working for the good of the order. I feel unquestionably qualified to contribute to the Sheridan College Board of Trustees in positive, unbiased, and considerate ways.

Top 3 Priorities

First, I want to say that I am coming to this without a specific agenda, but my priorities are:
º Open and honest communication between students, administration, and staff.
º The fiscal health of the college.
º The quality of the education offered to students.
