A Cowley Wyoming native, 63 years old, married to Cresta Shumway Peterson, has 3 sons, two daughters in law and 7 grandchildren. Graduated Cowley High School, two years of college at NWC and BYU. Served 2 year mission for LDS church in Arizona. Served as a Bishop for 7 years. Vice President Office Shop Inc. Served 6 years on the Cowley Town Council. Served 8 years as a Big Horn County Commissioner. Served 13 years as a Wyoming State Senator.

Public service of 27 years. 6 years as a town councilman, 8 years as a county commissioner, 13 years as a state senator. Served 6 years Appropriations committee, 6 years Chairman Revenue committee, Labor and health committee, Transportation and military affairs committee, Agriculture committee. 10 years Little League Baseball, 5 years Babe Ruth Baseball, 15 years American Legion Baseball. Organized and built a new Legion baseball field in Cowley for older children to play baseball. Organized the baseball committee and program. While serving on teh town council, supervised the building of the community pool and picnic shelter. While serving as a county commissioner, was involved in improving the dispatch system and helped obtain funding for the county jail.

I feel I have much more to offer this senate district and the state. I have ideas for improved infrastructure projects around the state for our communities and counties. With my past experience of service on most levels of government, I feel that I can be an effective legislator for this area and the people.
