Biography

A Star Valley Ranch (SVR) homeowner since 2009, I have spent more than 20 years working in program management and cost analysis for the Federal Government to include serving in a leadership role for an organization of more than 160 people. I love the outdoors, am an avid gardener, mom, and grandmother. I’m also a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and current member of the SVR Natural Resources Board. I believe my experience and enthusiasm for living on the Ranch make me a great candidate for town government. One of my strengths is the ability to listen and work toward solutions that meet the needs of those involved. Folks might not get everything they want, but finding a path forward often means negotiating to a point that everyone can live with. That said, there are times when standing one’s ground is the best choice. If elected to the Town Council, I will work to ensure decisions made by our local government reflect the desires of our residents and are in the best interest of SVR.

Over 20 years of project management and cost analysis experience. I am also a United States Marine Corps Reserve veteran and a freelance writer.

Why I am Running

Wyoming Municipal elections are non-partisan, enabling real opportunity to get things done at the local level! With that in mind, I am running for SVR Town Council as I believe I could be an asset to our local government based on my experience and enthusiasm for living in our beautiful town. Over the past two years SVR has experienced exponential growth (our population is up 24% since 2020) and we have seen more than 40 new home starts. A recent survey of town residents showed their #1 priority to be preserving the rural lifestyle of the Ranch; I am in complete alignment with that view and if elected to SVR's Town Council I will work to ensure we keep "our town, rural today and rural for the future".

Top 3 Priorities

Preserving the rural lifestyle of SVR, completing town infrastructure projects (road and water) in a fiscally responsible manner, and continuing to improve communication between the town and residents.
