Biography

I am a retired Veterinarian. I was a solo-practitioner for six years with fifteen-hundred clients and over 4000 patients that ranged from capuchin monkeys and llamas to dogs and cats. I also was the consulting veterinarian for the Sweetwater Emergency Animal Response Team and Biology students at Western Wyoming Community College. After suffering burnout, developing a disdain for fake media and experiencing the economic implications of Wyoming's boom and bust oil and gas cycle, I closed my practice and moved back to Laramie. I re-vitalized a manufactured home community I own.

Experience

As a Veterinarian, I have ample experience dealing with families before, during and after their loss of a four-legged family member. I have preformed necropsies and been involved in investigations of animal cruelty and neglect. I have experience distinguishing organ-failure from poisonings and acute trauma of hit-by-cars and home accidents from long-term abuse. I have experience creating medical records and practicing doctor-client-patient confidentiality.

Why I am Running

I am running for the office of Coroner because I have medical experience and believe my knowledge and experience is well suited for refreshing the Coroner's Office.

Top 3 Priorities

My top three priority are to 1-be the voice for decedents while protecting their confidentiality, 2-accurately record vital statistics, 3-create an interface similar to other counties where family members can request documentation of reports and death certificates that they need in their journey to close the estate of their loved-ones.
