The Wyoming Supreme Court is made up of five Justices, with one of them being the Chief Justice. They serve as the supreme authority for Wyoming’s judicial system, and have the final say in any and all cases concerning Wyoming law.
A Wyoming Supreme Court Justice must be able to be as impartial and nonpartisan as they can be with their decision. They also must have an advanced understanding of State law, and must be an attorney admitted to the Wyoming Bar.
The decisions of the Wyoming Supreme Court typically serve as the final word for the cases that make it to them. These decisions could have far-reaching changes on the state as a whole.
