Biography
Born, raised and lived most of my adult life in Charleston, S.C. Married to Catherine Ferry Middleton. Three children, seven grandchildren. Youngest child, Arthur, attained his PhD at Univ of Wyoming as ecologist, has done extensive research in Yellowstone ecosystem on migration of elk, pronghorns; and resides in Cody for the summers advancing his research. After visiting him inn Cody for years, Catherine and I established permanent residence in Cody in 2019. Pastimes have included sailboating and cruising in motor boats.

*founded a health plan, Healthsource SC, grew it to 300,000 beneficiaries; served as its Chairman, Medical Director, and later CEO
*merged Healthsource into management company, Healthsource, Inc (NYSE), served as a Director
* Senior VP CIGNA
* developed two “medical homes” programs
