Biography

I was raised in a politically conservative active-duty military family, so I have had the opportunity to live in different places both abroad and in the U.S., spending much of the time stationed in Texas and Alaska. While in Alaska, I graduated from high school and studied at UAF. When my father retired from the Airforce, my whole family relocated to Washington State. I joined them for a short time before meeting the love of my life while travelling. He was active-duty Army and we were stationed in Alaska. After starting our family and his 2nd deployment to Iraq, we chose to not re-enlist and moved briefly to Washington State, then to Utah, where he began to work in the Oil fields of Wyoming and North Dakota. After several years, we decided to start our own business as trucking owner/operators and end the long commutes and found ourselves in Bar Nunn, Wyoming. When we moved here, we felt like we found home.

Experience

I am a chef, so my professsional experience is predominately food service related, with some experience in retail, sales, and an office internship when I was younger. My most recent work has included managing a non-profit kitchen as executive chef, where I was responsible for menu planning, purchasing, hiring and managing staff, scheduling, cooking, paperwork, etc., and also did catering events. After that I started working as a personal chef for the last three years.

Education

I am a high school graduate, and attended UAF with an art scholarship and started as an art major, before discovering my passion for cooking and switching to a Culinary Arts program.

Community Activities and Memberships

I am currently serving as Natrona County republican precinct committeewoman for 8-5 and am also a ward captain on the executive committee and on the fundraising sub-committee.

I am a member of the Natrona County Republican Women.

I am active in our church and am presently a youth sunday school teacher.

Why I am Running

My family has served in the military for multiple generations. I have so much gratitude for the veterans I know so personally as a granddaughter, daughter, niece, cousin, and wife. I feel the best way to show that gratitude is to be deserving of their personal sacrifices, and the sacrifices of others who have given all for the cause of freedom. My involvement in my community as precinct committeewoman is my own effort to do my small part to maintain the gift of liberty.

Top 3 Priorities

First, I want to help to get good republican candidates elected to our local offices.
Second, I want to be a diligent representative of the concerns and values of fellow republican voters.
Third, I want to support the function and unity of the Republican Party so that the party goals can be reached.
