Biography

I was born in Modesto California where my family farmed almonds and walnuts. I came to Sheridan in 1993 when I was offered a teaching position in the Sheridan College Ag. Department. I retired in May of 2021.I am married to Loretta Holloway and we have two adult sons, Bradley and Tyler. Both sons graduated from Sheridan College and both are in Wyoming Army National Guard.

Experience

I have 35 years in Agricultural Education with the last 28 in the Sheridan College Ag Department.I served as the Chair on Board of Directors for the National Professional Agricultural Students Organization. I came up through the chairs and served as Faculty Senate President.

Why I am Running

I have nearly 3 decades of experience at Sheridan College. I feel I can be an asset to the Board from a faculty perspective as well as bringing a wealth of institutional history. I believe in the value and mission of Community Colleges and want to continue to support our students.

Top 3 Priorities

Represent and support Ag and Technical education
Bring a greater degree of transparency in the decision making process when it impacts students and the community
Actively seek input from students, faculty and the community when it comes to the direction Sheridan College moves forward with.
