Dale Davis (Republican)
Town Council - Encampment - (255)
Biography
My name is Dale Davis and I was born, raised and lived the majority of my life in Colorado. Although I have owned my home here in Encampment for 23 years, I was finally able to escape Colorado permanently in 2021 to
live in this majestic paradise.
I started working at the age of 13 and 1/2 years at Ben Franklin and from that time on, was never unemployed until my retirement. I worked in the automotive industry for 30 years and finished my career as an automotive instructor at Bollman Technical School, School District 12 in Adams County, Colorado for 15 years. Bollman is a career and technical school wherein students from 5 different high schools in School District 12 gather for technical training.
My wife, Liz, and I have been married for 48 years and have 1 daughter and 2 grandchildren.
In 2001 we purchased our Encampment home with the goal of making this our permanent home after retirement; we remodeled and worked to make our dream home possible.
Experience
I have worked with the public my entire career and I am a great problem solver. I am not afraid of hard work and I will go the extra mile to achieve a goal. I currently serve on the Encampment Planning Commission and have cleared the hurdles necessary to volunteer at Encampment K-12 school.
Education
I attended Adams City High School from September 1967 leaving in December with enough credits to graduate mid-term. My experience in the automotive industry and additional acquired credits allowed me to have a teaching certificate.
Community Activities and Memberships
Served as president of Ford Parts and Service Club in Denver, Colorado for 2 years;
My wife and I volunteered with Food Bank of the Rockies through her employment with the ADCO DA;
