Biography

I was born and raised in Arkansas. I met and married a man serving in the Air Force. We moved from Arkansas to England, where we spent many years. Upon retiring, my husband was offered a contractor position at FE Warren and we moved to Carpenter. I have been here for five years and am currently a Realtor working with Coldwell Banker, The Property Exchange and currently serve as a Precinct Committeewoman for Precinct 6-1.

Being a real estate agent allows me the freedom to serve in the community. When I am not buying and selling homes, I am volunteering my time with the Cheyenne Church of Christ, Cheyenne Winter Farmers Market and Cheyenne Women's Civic League.

I was an accountant for many years and also an operations manager for about eight years. I have worked in various settings both in the private and public sectors. I was even a statistician for several years at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

Experience

I am currently sitting as a precinct woman for precinct 6-1. I was selected as a Delegate for the County Convention and as Alternate for the State Convention.
I currently serve and have served for more than a decade on various boards of directors and am active in the community.
My husband, Clancy Fairchild, and I own a small real estate business.

Why I am Running

I believe in the freedoms that God has gifted us with and that they should be held dear to our hearts. I believe the Laramie County Republican Party needs more leaders who believe in protecting our rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. So I am stepping up and putting my name forward to help preserve those rights provided to "We The People" in the Constitution.

Top 3 Priorities

1. Serve the community by learning their wants and needs and relaying these to the county Republican Party
2. Help those candidates who best represent the community to get elected
3. Push for the community's views to be represented at the state level – which we were unable to do this past state convention.
