Why I am Running

Quite honestly I am very disappointed in my Wyoming Republican Party. I dislike the fighting, bickering, backstabbing, name calling and other public outbursts that, in my opinion, are giving my Party a bad name. I feel the current state of the Party is one of exclusion, and elitism with no room for a variety of opinions.

As a Republican I voted for Barry Goldwater (Conscience of a Conservative), and felt welcome in the Republican Party of Ronald Regan (Big Tent). I believe that a variety of opinions is good for the Party and the State and Nation and that those that express those opinions deserve to be heard without ridicule or name calling. The term RINO is demeaning both to those who are called that and also to those that call them that.

Differences of opinion in the Party will occur and those differences should, I feel, be discussed or debated in respectful and thoughtful dialog and when completed, a consensus be reached and the matter settled.

I believe that I should be able to respect those that are elected to public office whether that office is local, state or national. Those that cannot control their tongues when speaking publicly should not be elected.

Top 3 Priorities

Clean up the public image of the Republican Party in Wyoming and Nationally.
Make all people feel welcome to join or rejoin the Party.
Nominate and elect Republicans that are a credit to the Party.
