Biography

Logan Christie lives in Cody, Wyoming with his girlfriend Lauren and their two dogs, Hendrix and Beesly. Born and raised in Cody, he is a graduate of Cody High School in 2002, and he proudly graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2007, later earning his Masters from Colorado State University. In addition to professional experience in the legal field, Logan worked in Information Technology from 1998-2010 and continues to assist local business and individuals with technological needs.

Logan has had ties to the community for his entire life, his grandfather Ron was previously a County Assessor, and many family members have made Park County their permanent homes. In his free time Logan enjoys playing golf and spending time with those closest to him. Anyone who knows Logan knows Sunday evenings are reserved for family dinner at Reid and Gingers house with Grandmother Rosalie always joining.

Experience

Since 2010 Logan has been the Youth Services Probation Supervisor, and now the Youth Services Coordinator, working in coordination with the Park County Attorney’s office supervising at risk and delinquent juveniles. He has worked with numerous judges and courts including Municipal and Circuit Courts in Cody and Powell as well as defense and prosecuting attorneys. By utilizing community resources combined with his training, Logan educates and assists troubled youths and families in the community.

Education

Logan holds a Bachelor’s of Art in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from the University of Wyoming where he was a member of the Criminal Justice Club and played hockey, and a Masters of Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement Administration with a specialization in Information Technology from Colorado State University.

Community Activities and Memberships

Logan is currently a member of Healthy Park County and Sources of Strength, promoting mental health awareness and support in Park County. Previously he served on the Suicide Prevention Coalition, assists with Bright Futures and is a certified instructor of INDEPTH, educating juveniles about the risk of tobacco use. He was appointed to the State Advisory Council for Juvenile Justice by Governor Gordon in February of 2021, and has been a member of Elks #1611 for 14 years.

Why I am Running

I am running because the opportunity to represent the residents of Park County in the best possible way continues to drive me personally and professionally. To continue the respected tradition set forth by previous District Court Clerks and utilize my IT background to facilitate the transition to the required statewide e-filing system.

Top 3 Priorities

1. Transparency and open communication with the public regarding services provided by the District Court. Encouraging the safety of
individual’s personal information regarding release of public records and the transition of those records to e-records.

2. Keep with the state timeline regarding the implementation of e-filing and its transition to the District Court.

3. Represent the voters and residents of Park County to the best of my ability.
