Biography

For over a decade I have owned, operated, and managed our companies with seven figure budgets and revenues. During the pandemic, many companies have failed. We have been fortunate and due to our conservative values, leadership, and principles, our companies are stable, and have reserves. With over twenty years of business ownership and experience, I have firsthand experience in managing personnel, budgets, and a track record of leadership.
I chose to run for Sweetwater County Treasurer because of my belief that we must invest in our future by taking an active role. Our government is most effective when we play an active part. The employees in the SW County Treasurer’s office are experienced, hardworking, and dedicated. They are the backbone that keeps our county government functioning properly and should I be elected, their knowledge and skills will be the cornerstone dedicated sis full of an amazing staff Our government needs the same leadership and skill to help guide it forward.

Experience

I currently own and operate several small Wyoming businesses, including Radiant MFG., Wash and Glow Car Wash (Rock Springs, WY), Autospa Car Wash (Rock Springs, WY), Wash and Glow Car Wash (Casper, WY) and a few real estate investment companies. I have managed significant budgets and large groups of employees for over two decades.

Education

During the course of my higher education, I realized that there was disconnect between what I was learning and what I was already doing. I determined my best course of action was to pursue my passions and interests by investing my time and talents towards growing the businesses my wife and I were operating. I continue to educate myself everyday with reading and application of new principles that our invented in the industries our businesses function in.

Community Activities and Memberships

For the past two decades my wife and I have been busy raising our two daughters who were active in dance and school activities which we enjoyed being a part of. Through our businesses we have supported hundreds of charitable events and organizations. Our support includes everything from the "walk to end Alzheimer's", to individuals harmed in car accidents. I current donate time to wrapping boxes with the Rock Springs Box Art committee as well.

Why I am Running

I chose to run for Sweetwater County Treasurer because of my belief that we must invest in our future by taking an active role. Our government is most effective when we play an active part. For far to long many of the leaders in our country have been career politicians. Leaders who have not had any true experience in having to adapt and implement new technologies, while expecting the tax payers to keep paying. Government should be run like the business it is. We should expect our government to offer services with that on par of any other business we work with.
With these considerations in mind it became clear to me that we cannot expect better results from our elected officials if we do elect leaders with a business background. My understanding of business principles and ability to set goals and work towards implementing the changes needed are why I decided to run for the Sweetwater County Treasurers office.

Top 3 Priorities

1. Access to the services of the treasurer’s office need to be moved online for the majority of all transactions.
2. Investing the county funds need to be brought into the modern age and our county funds need to be invested along with the state’s treasury funds.
3. Opening a remote office in Rock Springs will allow for easier access to the office for a large portion of the county.
