Why I am Running

COVID exposed serious flaws in the oversight and administration of health services in Crook County. It is time for local residents with the ability to expose and correct these flaws to raise their hand and take action to do so. In Sundance, residents are willingly choosing to drive 30 minutes to Spearfish during emergency situations rather than travelling 2 minutes to the clinic in Sundance, that alone suggests that there is something terribly wrong with either the quality of care or the reputation about the quality of care that is impacting the citizens of the region.

Top 3 Priorities

1. Implement a full performance review of the health services in the district from the date period of February 2020 through the current date. Patients, staffing, budgets, performance, etc.
2. Establish a plan and processes to correct any flaws identified from #1
3. Remove politics and pseudo-science from the care practices currently being implemented in the County that are directly causing loss of talented staff to other fields of endeavor.
