Why I am Running

I am running as a Constitutional Conservative. this means that I will do anything within my power of the office I hold to protect the rights of my constituents. I believe that there has not been enough done to protect those rights in light of the recent mandates. I believe that there is a moral obligation to the tax payer to spend wisely and reduce tax collection wherever possible. Reductions in property taxes by changing from neighborhood evaluation to acquisition based evaluation. What you paid for your home should be what you should be taxed on. I believe that the diversity of Sheridan County demands a transparent and open discussion on the issues coming before the board of County Commissioners. To represent this diversity, there can not be a unanimous vote on all issues coming before the board. I would like to present an open and fair playing field to attract any and all business and industry, thereby creating a stronger economy and supplying employment opportunities with salaries large enough to raise a family on. I want to work to create an environment where affordable single family homes are within the grasp of county residents.
