Biography

I graduated from Cheyenne Central High School in 1989. After attending LCCC and the University of Wyoming I received a bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I taught for 23 years for the San Bernardino Unified School District in San Bernardino, CA. I taught three years in elementary, nine years at the middle school and eleven years at Cajon High School, eight of which was in an administrative capacity. in 2018 I returned to Wyoming to help manage our family's auto body business that my father started in 1993.

Twenty-five plus years in education and recently working for the family business, I have the unique ability to work with a varied group of people on minor issues to major decision making. Why I am Running

The lawmaking process is being hampered by “Social Media” politics. Niche issues that are popular on cable news and other media platforms are infiltrating committees and diverting attention from more substantial issues that are unique to Wyoming. Too many law makers are virtue signaling when they should be focused on Wyoming’s energy, agriculture and business industries. I would like to bring a common sense voice to the legislature and guide us back to Wyoming focused sessions.

Top 3 Priorities

Politics are beginning to jeopardize our public schools from both sides. I am uniquely positioned to understand what legislation is good for our students and which is good for the politicians and special interest groups.

I will sponsor and reintroduce the Suicide Prevention Bill that failed in the 2021 General Session. Many Representatives had misguided understanding of how the program would effect day to day classroom instruction. Wyoming is number one in suicides per capita. We can't afford not to pass this legislation.

District 46 voters has expressed concern towards property rights along with property taxes and value. Much of the debate centers around Wind Energy farms. I will prioritize related legislation and extensively communicate with District 46 voters prior to any votes cast.
