Why I am Running

As a devoted public servant that believes in hard work, personal responsibility, the rule of law and preserving Wyoming’s way of life, I am working to build a Stronger Wyoming. The Secretary of State’s Office is critically important to our beloved state not only in the role as chief elections officer, but also as a driver of economic growth through the dual duties of serving as the entry point for all corporate formations and as a member of the state lands investments board. My experience and passion for the job combined with my commitment to Wyoming’s future have led me to run for the office.

Top 3 Priorities

The main issue facing the state right now is increasing inflation and a challenged economy. Wyoming’s hard-earned dollars are not keeping pace with the costs of daily life. Our Wyoming families are struggling, and I am committed to solving these concerns as your next Secretary of State. My role as a member of the State Land and Investment Board can help by getting those state dollars out of Cheyenne and into rural Wyoming to help alleviate these financial stressors. Ensuring that corporate registrations are increasing and raising revenue is vitally important as that means less taxes for Wyoming families.

Election integrity is fundamental. Our system of government and very liberty depend on free and fair elections. Every Wyomingite must be able to trust in the process. I will protect your vote. By working together with Wyoming’s 23 County Clerk’s to demonstrate Wyoming’s transparent election process and by constantly evaluating areas of improvement to increase voter confidence through utilization of best practices to include election audits. As a cosponsor of the Voter Identification bill, I recognized the increasing concern by many Wyomingites.
