Biography
I am a lifelong Wyomingite. I was born and raised in Casper, Wyoming. I graduated from Natrona County High School in 2008 and from the University of Wyoming at Casper College with a bachelor's in English Literature in 2013. In 2018 I earned my masters degree in education from St. Catherine's University in 2018. My husband, who is USMC veteran who served in both Iraq and Afghanistan, and I are now raising two wonderful children here in Casper. We enjoy attending community events as well as spending time in nature. We especially enjoy fishing and camping in Wyoming.
Experience
This is my first time running for political office.
I worked as a preschool teacher for most of ten years, and for two of those years I ran my own preschool out of my home.
I have voted in every primary and general election since I turned 18, and I have an abundance of experience volunteering in our community.
Education
I hold a bachelor's degree in English Literature from the University of Wyoming and a master's degree in education from St. Catherine's University in St. Paul, MN. Currently, I work as the communications coordinator for the WyoUnited Education Project.
Community Activities and Memberships

* I volunteer with Meals on Wheels.
* I am a member of the Casper Unity and Solidarity Project, providing mutual aid for our community.

Why I am Running
There are so many reasons I have decided to run for office.
First, my friends, family, and I have not felt represented in the legislature. only 25% of the current legislature is women, and the average is 54. Those of us who are not nearing retirement are not feeling represented in the current legislature.
Second, I have been appalled at the number of bills that have been passed through that are in direct violation of the Wyoming Constitution.
Lastly, we have to find a way to create an atmosphere in Wyoming where young people want to stay. With 60% of people under the age of 30 leaving every year we have to find a way to keep our youth here. This means making sure that we provide a good education as well as economic opportunities for young people.
