I was born in Buffalo, Wyoming and moved to Sheridan in 1983. I graduated from Holy Name, Sheridan High School and the University of Wyoming. I am also a graduate of Leadership Sheridan and the Sheridan Civic Project. My husband, Regan and I have been married for 23 years, and we have three children. Our two boys are both majoring in business and playing football for the University of Wyoming Cowboys. Our daughter attends Sheridan High School. I worked in environmental consulting for 20 years, overseeing oil and gas, coal, and renewable energy projects across Wyoming, South Dakota, North Dakota and Montana. I have over 22 years of volunteerism in Sheridan County.

I earned a bachelor’s degree in American Studies with a concentration in environment and natural resources (Haub School of ENR) from the University of Wyoming in 2000 and a Certificate of Applied Project Management from Villanova University, Villanova, Pennsylvania, in 2010. I completed “Resolving Public Policy Disputes” with CDR Associates in 2003, and the Ruckelshaus Institute Collaboration Program in Natural Resources at the University of Wyoming, Laramie, in 2016.

I am running because I want Sheridan to be a place my children want to come back to. That means being a proactive partner in economic development, solid infrastructure and planning for sustainable growth. We have some folks voting no just to vote no and that won’t get us where we want and need to be 5-25 years from now. •

Our County's growth has presented opportunities to collaborate with our communities and the private sector to plan for our future. It’s important that government isn’t a hurdle for our communities to invite businesses, be family ready and provide services for our residents of all ages. We need to support our infrastructure, and that includes everything from our roads and water systems to our airports and our libraries. Sheridan has seen a 7.5% population increase from 2020 to 2025 and it’s critical we’re planning for the future. In partnership with the City of Sheridan and other communities, I’ve voted in support of and am currently a part of these working groups:

• Joint Planning Area (JPA) plan update with the City of Sheridan. This cooperative effort, last updated in 2017, provides long-range guidance on zoning, transportation, and development around city limits
• Lake DeSmet Level II Study, sponsored by Sheridan County, the City of Sheridan and the City of Buffalo. This study will analyze what it looks like to bring water to Sheridan County.
• Sheridan County Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP). This is a county wide wildfire protection plan that will identify mitigation projects to help protect our communities.
• I’ll be voting in support of updating our County Wide Comprehensive Plan in fiscal year 2027/2028.
