David Hill is a husband, father of three boys, and dedicated community leader committed to preserving Wyoming values for the next generation. He serves as President of the Cody Country Chamber of Commerce and has spent years serving his community through business and public service leadership. David is running for the Wyoming House to fight for limited government, local control, lower taxes, strong constitutional freedoms, and to keep Wyoming the best place to live, work, and raise a family. He’ll work hard to make the people of House District 50 proud.

David Hill’s background spans business, law, and public service. Before practicing law, he worked in the automotive industry. During law school, he interned with the U.S. Attorney’s Offices in Wyoming and Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He later served five years as a Drug Court Judge and now represents Wyoming individuals, families, and businesses.

David Hill earned a B.S. in Business Management with an emphasis in Supply Chain Management, followed by an MBA and J.D. from the University of Wyoming. Through UW, he also completed study abroad programs at Pforzheim University in Germany and the University of Cambridge in England.

David Hill serves as President of the Cody Country Chamber of Commerce and is an active Rotarian. He serves on the boards of the Northwest College Foundation, Bright Futures Mentoring, the Park County Leadership Institute, the Park County Sheriff’s Office Charitable Foundation, and the Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association. He has also coached youth baseball and flag football.

I’m running because I believe every decision we make should leave Wyoming better for the next generation. My wife and I are raising our three boys here in Park County, and like so many Wyoming families, we want them to grow up with the same freedoms, opportunities, and values that have made this state such a special place to call home.

I’m not running to build a political career. I’m running to serve my neighbors and help ensure Wyoming remains a place where families can thrive, businesses can succeed, and government respects the people it serves. I believe in limited government, local control, personal responsibility, fiscal discipline, and protecting the constitutional freedoms that define our state.

As an attorney, former Drug Court Judge, business professional, and community leader, I’ve spent my career solving problems, bringing people together, and making difficult decisions. I’ll bring that same practical, conservative approach to Cheyenne.

I will listen to the people of House District 50, work hard every day to represent our values, and never lose sight of who I’m there to serve. My promise is simple: I’ll work hard to make you proud.

1. Protect Wyoming Families & Our Economy: I’ll fight to keep taxes low, control government spending, reduce unnecessary regulations, and create an environment where businesses can grow, good-paying jobs are available, and families can afford to stay in Wyoming.

2. Strengthen Local Communities: Decisions affecting our schools, counties, cities, and special districts should be made as close to the people as possible. I’ll defend local control, support our first responders and rural healthcare, and work to ensure our communities have the tools they need to succeed.

3. Preserve the Wyoming Way of Life: I’ll protect our constitutional rights, defend our public lands and public access, support responsible multiple-use management, and ensure future generations enjoy the same opportunities to hunt, fish, ranch, work, and raise a family that we enjoy today.

Everything I do will be guided by one simple question: Will this decision leave Wyoming better for the next generation?
