The core values of service and leadership instilled in me during my U.S. Air Force service have become the driving force behind my unwavering commitment to Riverton. The lessons of discipline, teamwork, and strategic thinking I learned during those years have shaped my approach to every role I've undertaken.

Serving on various boards, including the city council, has further honed my understanding of our community's needs. For example, on the school board, I learned how important the diversity of thought and opinion is. These diverse experiences, from the airport board to the recreation board and BOCES, have provided me with a well-rounded perspective on Riverton's challenges and opportunities, from education and recreation to infrastructure and economic development.

Beyond my board service, my commitment is deeply personal. For over 30 years, I've proudly raised my family and built successful technology company right here in Riverton that provides support through out Wyoming. This experience has given me a firsthand understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing our local businesses. I'm deeply invested in our community's future, and this personal connection fuels my passion for ensuring Riverton continues to thrive. I'm absolutely dedicated to

I am running for re-election to another four-year term because more than ever Riverton needs councilmembers who have strong leadership skills, high integrity, common sense, and who do the work it takes to be prepared and be present for the citizens of Riverton. Riverton needs leaders who are truly invested in the wellbeing of our growing, robust, diverse and vibrant community.

We have so many dynamic issues as well as opportunities in front of us. The work is challenging, vital and meaningful. I'm grateful for the outpouring of support from my peers, other community leaders and residents to continue my position on the council and do the work for the Citizens of Riverton.

In both my public and professional lives, I have been a positive, decisive, innovative, gracious leader who understands the importance of cooperation and teamwork to achieve goals for our city. In addition to my tenure on the City Council I've been active on numerous boards and organizations.

As the only veteran on the council, I continue to support and advocate for our veterans and their families.

I want to make a difference for Riverton and firmly believe I have the skills and ability to be a positive contribution to the City.

Safety is always a priority for any community and having a fully staffed police force is critical to providing the security citizens deserve. It doesn't come easily, or cheaply. The solutions aren't immediate either, it takes time, effort, excellent leadership and a City Council that understands the needs as well as the obstacles and works to keep moving forward despite them.

It's critical for our community to have robust economic growth to fuel all the important city functions that make a community that people want to be a part of. Without the economic development and transportation services businesses are less likely to come to Riverton and that has a negative impact on our economy.

I fully support the continuation of the 1/2% Sales Tax -- No one likes taxes, but sales tax is the fairest of the taxes since it's distributed evenly and is showing the most effective return on our investment. Supporting the Airport, WRTA Bus, Ambulance and the many businesses has proven a huge return on our investment.
