I am a fourth-generation Wyoming rancher, veterinarian and Marine Corps veteran, born and raised near Gillette. Kelly and I have been married for 35 years and raised our children on the family ranch. I served six years on the Wyoming Livestock Board before being elected to the Legislature, where I served as Speaker of the House and now represent Senate District 23. I’ve spent my life solving problems, serving others and working to strengthen Wyoming.

Wyoming State Senator, District 23; former Speaker of the Wyoming House of Representatives and House Majority Leader; six years on the Wyoming Livestock Board; large-animal veterinarian; fourth-generation rancher; U.S. Marine Corps veteran. Decades of experience in agriculture, natural resources, small business and public service.

Lifelong student of Wyoming's agriculture, natural resources and public policy through decades of professional practice and legislative service.

Active in Wyoming agriculture and veterinary medicine throughout my career. Former member of the Wyoming Livestock Board. Longtime volunteer and supporter of community, youth and agricultural organizations. Lifelong member of Wyoming's ranching community and active in civic organizations that strengthen local communities across our state.

I am not running against anyone. I am running because I care about the people of this state and want Wyoming to remain a place where people have the choice to stay and build a life. Wyoming has given my family a good life, and I want future generations to have that same opportunity.
My wife, Kelly, and I have lived in Wyoming, worked in Wyoming and served Wyoming. We have raised our children here, made decisions about schools and healthcare, signed the front of a paycheck and worked with producers and rural communities. I have served in the Legislature, solving problems that affect real people.
Those experiences have prepared me to lead Wyoming in a way that understands our state, respects its people and gets results.

The biggest challenge facing Wyoming is
keeping our communities strong and livable so Wyoming is a place where our kids and grandkids can choose to live and build their familles. That means creating good-paying jobs, improving access to affordable healthcare and making it possible for working families to find housing they can afford.
These challenges are connected. A good job doesn't mean much if you can't find a doctor, and families are less likely to stay if they can't afford a home or see a future in their community.
I will strengthen Wyoming's economy by supporting the industries and small businesses that already sustain our communities. On Aug. 19, I will launch a Healthcare Task Force to address access, affordability and workforce shortages, especially in rural Wyoming. I will also establish regional governor's offices so communities have a direct voice and state government can respond to local needs, including housing.
The goal is simple: make sure more Wyoming families can stay, work and build their future here.
