I have been a Wyoming resident for most of my life. I spent the majority of my education at Meeteetse Schools in Meeteetse, Wyoming. After my freshman year of high school, I transferred to Burlington High School, where I graduated in 2016. After high school, I attended Northwest College as well as Chadron State College in Chadron, Nebraska. After moving back home, I continued my dream of coaching, and met my wife. I spent a brief time living in Montana, coaching football at Bridger Schools for the Junior High. After having our son, we decided to move between our families.

I may not have experience specifically on a school board, but as a coach of 10 years, I have seen a lot of different administrations and how they work. During my time in Montana, I was approached about running for school board, and decided to decline due to not being the correct time and opportunity for my family and I.

I studied Physical Education and Coaching at Northwest College as well as Chadron State College. During my time at CSC, I was able to work closely with certain professors as well as all the football coaches. This allowed me to see how certain aspects of education works, including at the collegiate level.

My family and I are trying to become more active in the community and district.

I am running because after years in school systems, I feel that now is the time for me to share what I have learned and be a valuable voice in our district. My son has opened my eyes to many things, and having an opportunity to be a part of the future is very great.

My priorities are mostly student-centered. I think the number one thing for me is taking a look at what we can do about bullying in our schools. I believe there is a way that we can come together and figure out a solution to do better.

Secondly, I believe there are many great coaches around that do not get the look that they may deserve. I believe there is a way to make sure every avenue gets exhausted when searching for great coaches.

Third, I believe taking an in-depth look into our schools and trying to find what we can do to be better. We need to be a great place from our students to our staff. An in-depth look inward is never a bad thing.
