Hi, I’m Jana Oliver and I am running for Hot Springs County Treasurer.
Before moving to Wyoming I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and served as Chief Financial Officer of YMCA and learned to work with very small, restricted budgets.
I have spent the past 17 years working as the Office Manager for Thermopolis EyeCare where I handle accounts payables and receivables.
I have a passion for our small community and doing all I can to help with its growth and sustainability.

Served as Secretary for the Bobcat Booster Club for 3 years
Various other community events such as downtown Christmas decorations, moonlight madness also handled deposits for the demolition derby

I believe that my accounting background and strong fiscal values can be a great asset to the Treasurer’s office. I have a strong desire to make sure our community thrives and is sustainable for many years to come. I am always looking to save money where I can and make any business I work for thrive and that is all I want to do, make Hot Springs County thrive again.

One of my top priorities would be to make sure the monies invested are giving us the highest yield possible.
I would also like to make sure all tax payers are aware of all relief programs but also explain the consequences those programs have on our small community.
Work with the clerks office and commissioners to better serve our community.
