Biography

Born in Connecticut, moved to upstate, NY and then out to Colorado and 7 years ago up to Wyoming. I learned a lot about politics over the years as I was on the left side of the aisle growing up, so I can appreciate where they may be coming from at times, and yet turned to conservatism as it serves the people much better and is in alignment with my ethics and values. I love the outdoors and you likely won't find me out there with my young son as we get out there rather than do much front-country outdoors time, but maybe at times when we just want the woods and a good campfire.

Experience

I served in Fire/Rescue/LE, I served in the US Military, Army, 10th Mountain Division, and you can bet I have seen fine examples of excellent leadership (also known as servant leadership) and horrible leadership that ruins morale and betrays the public trust as well as ruining people's careers and even lives.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources: Management and Policy from Paul Smith's College
Bacchus and Gamma Peer Educator
Red Rocks Community College Law Enforcement Academy
Araphoe Community College EMT-B School

Extensive Leadership in professional career including the US Military, as well as some in Law Enforcement, as well as Volunteer positions in Fire/Rescue.

Community Activities and Memberships

Various participation occasionally in social clubs

Church Ministry with young boys to turn them into strong, productive Christian men in society.

Why I am Running

I'm running because people need quality representation and there's a major problem with it we seem to have in Laramie County where public trust keeps getting brought up as lacking in political representatives. We do have some good representatives whom aren't politicians or bureaucrats and I'm glad to call many of these as friends and coworkers in political endeavors. I believe We The People need Representation, otherwise it's taxation without representation, and people aren't valued. I want a society where the people matter, feel heard, are properly represented, and drive success of our American culture.

Top 3 Priorities

I wrote on my Constitutional MacGregor Facebook Profile (https://www.facebook.com/ConstitutionalMacGregor), below:
"In running for Laramie County Commissioner, in Laramie County, Wyoming, I am a Constitutional Conservative and part of my platform is as follows, as simply and succinctly as possible, but not limited to:
● Fiscal conservatism while maintaining and/or improving budgetary concerns for public safety including Fire / LE / EMS / Public Works / etc.
● Development issues relating to but not limited to wishes and needs of our community relating to under and over Development and deep analysis of Data Centers that the majority of our community is opposed to.
● Private Property rights and Home-Based Businesses having freedom to do business as Small Business is the backbone of America and our local community.

...part of being a Constitutional Conservative because the job of the Constitution is to restrain the government from trampling private citizens, rights, votes, etc."
