My wife and I chose to raise our family in Casper because we believe it's a wonderful place to call home. Over the years, we've watched our three daughters grow up here, and like many families, we've become invested in the future of this community.

Service has been a common thread throughout my life. I served seven years in the United States Marine Corps, spent several years supporting the U.S. Department of State overseas, and today my career focuses on helping people find opportunities and strengthening our workforce. Outside of work, I volunteer with Civil Air Patrol, where I enjoy mentoring young people and helping develop the next generation of leaders.

I'm running for Casper City Council because I care about the decisions we make today and how they'll affect our community tomorrow. I believe good local government starts by listening, asking thoughtful questions, and making responsible decisions.

I've never followed a traditional career path, and I'm grateful for that. My experiences have taken me from military service to overseas work, business ownership, workforce development, and community volunteer leadership. Along the way, I've worked with people from many different backgrounds, solved problems in challenging environments, and learned that good leadership always starts with listening.

I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and later pursued graduate studies at Washington State University. I've continued learning throughout my life through military leadership training, professional development, and the experiences that come from serving in many different roles. I believe education doesn't end in the classroom, it continues through curiosity, experience, and a commitment to lifelong learning.

I serve as the Deputy Commander for Cadets with Civil Air Patrol, where I mentor young people and support emergency services and community outreach. I'm also a proud member of the American Legion and enjoy volunteering throughout Casper whenever I have the opportunity. Giving back to the community has been a consistent part of my life, and it's one of the reasons I'm running for City Council.

I'm running because this is home. My wife and I chose to raise our family in Casper, and I expect this is where we'll spend the rest of our lives. That gives me a real interest in the decisions we make as a community today because they'll shape the Casper our children, and hopefully someday our grandchildren, will inherit.

Throughout my life I've been drawn to opportunities to serve, whether that was in the Marine Corps, supporting our country overseas, mentoring young people through Civil Air Patrol, or helping people find opportunities through my professional career. City Council feels like a natural extension of that commitment.

I don't believe a council member needs to have every answer. I believe they need to listen, ask thoughtful questions, study the issues, and make decisions that serve the community for the long term. That's the kind of council member I hope to be.

First, keeping Casper safe by supporting public safety and maintaining the core services residents depend on every day.

Second, being a responsible steward of taxpayer dollars by maintaining our infrastructure and making thoughtful, long-term financial decisions.

And third, building trust in city government by listening to residents, improving communication, and making sure people feel heard before decisions are made.
