As the current City of Powell Councilwoman for Ward 2, I am seeking election to complete the unexpired term. As a lifelong resident of Park County, I have a deep appreciation for our community, its values, and the people who call it home. I believe effective leadership begins with listening, and I am committed to hearing the concerns and priorities of Powell residents. My goal is to make thoughtful, informed decisions that strengthen our community and serve the best interests of the people who live here.

Being raised in Park County has given me a strong understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing our city. I am dedicated to preserving the qualities that make Powell a great place to live while supporting responsible growth and planning for the future. I value transparency, accountability, and open communication, and I work to ensure that residents have a voice in the decisions that affect their daily lives.

My experience comes from a lifetime of living, working, and raising a family in Park County, combined with my service on the Powell City Council. I am committed to listening to residents, being accessible to constituents, and making decisions that reflect the best interests of our community.

I currently serve as the Powell City Councilwoman for Ward 2 and am seeking election to complete the unexpired term. A lifelong Park County resident, I hold an AAS Administrative Assistant degree and work as a Consumer Lender. I serve as the City Council liaison to Planning & Zoning, Treasurer of YCAN, and previously served six years on St. Barbara's Parish Council, including two years as Vice President. I am committed to listening and serving our community.

Community involvement is important to me. I am a member of First Friends, a First Bank of Wyoming organization that raises funds to support children in our community. Since 2018, I have taught Faith Formation to first and second graders at St. Barbara's Catholic Church. I also served on St. Barbara's Parish Council for six years, including two years as Vice President, strengthening my commitment to service, leadership, and community engagement.

As a lifelong resident of Park County, I am invested in the future of Powell. I am running because I want to continue working on behalf of our residents, supporting responsible growth, and preserving the values that make our community a great place to live, work, and raise a family.

Powell continues to grow, and it is important that we plan thoughtfully for the future. As the City Council liaison to Planning and Zoning, I support responsible development that protects the character of our community while ensuring infrastructure, housing, and city services can meet future needs.

2. Fiscal Responsibility and Transparency
As a Consumer Lender and community volunteer with financial responsibilities, I understand the importance of careful budgeting and accountability. I will continue to support responsible management of taxpayer dollars, prioritize essential city services, and ensure residents understand how and why decisions are made.

3. Listening to and Representing Residents
Effective local government starts with communication. I am committed to being accessible, listening to constituents, and considering diverse perspectives before making decisions. My goal is to ensure that residents have a voice in local government and that city policies reflect the needs and values of the people of Powell.
