I'm a GHS alumni and nearly lifelong Greybull resident (4 years in Laramie for my undergraduate degree, and most of my 20s living abroad). I have worked as a carpenter for much of my adult life but also have a masters degree in International and Community Development from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a bachelor's degree in Global and Area Studies from the University of Wyoming in Laramie.

I am 31 (almost 32, ooo will I remember to update this?) And currently live and work in Greybull, WY. Serving on the school board will hopefully be a great learning experience and also an opportunity for me to attempt to give back to the community that raised me. I hope that for generations to come we will have a great public school system that helps all the youth of Greybull (and beyond) to learn, grow, and develop the skills to succeed out in this wild world. It is my intention to help in whatever ways that I can.

I graduated from Greybull, WY and so experienced BHC school district #3 from the perspective of a student. My mother and grandmother also worked as teachers in this district, and so I have a good familiarity with the history of the schools and the different administrators and teachers who all came and left their marks here. I hope that the work itself and my fellow board members will be yet more teachers that I can learn from.

I am running because I want to learn more about how decisions are made regarding our public schools and to help in whatever ways that I am able to give the youth of this area access to high quality public education.
That means investing in all of the kids going through our schools and providing the best education that we can possibly give them.

Keeping our public schools accessible to all members of the community and beyond.
Learning how the board can best serve the students and faculty. (how much control over budget do we really have, what changes can we actually implement to make improvements, etc.)
Keeping an open mind and listening to students, staff, parents, and members of the community about their concerns. I hope to be a representative for all of our community.
