Why I am Running
I am running for the Wyoming House of Representatives because I care deeply about Wyoming and want to help ensure it remains a place where families can build a future, businesses can succeed, and communities can thrive.
Throughout my career, I have served in the military, worked as an engineer, practiced law, operated a small business, and served in local government. Those experiences have taught me that lasting solutions come from listening to people, understanding the facts, and focusing on results rather than politics.
Wyoming faces important challenges, including housing shortages, workforce recruitment, rising healthcare costs, fiscal pressures on local governments, and the need to create opportunities that encourage young people to stay, work, and raise families here. We also have tremendous opportunities through our energy, agriculture, natural resources, and the strength of our communities.
I am running to bring practical experience, independent judgment, and a commitment to public service to the Legislature. My goal is to support policies that strengthen Wyoming's economy, protect local decision-making, and preserve the Wyoming way of life for future generations.
Top 3 Priorities
1. Strengthening Wyoming's Workforce and Economy
Wyoming's future depends on our ability to attract and retain workers, create opportunities for young people, and support industries that provide good-paying jobs. I will support career and technical education, workforce development, responsible resource development, and policies that encourage economic growth and entrepreneurship. We need an economy that allows Wyoming families to build successful careers without leaving the state.
2. Responsible Government and Local Control
Government should be accountable, transparent, and fiscally responsible. I support careful stewardship of taxpayer dollars and policies that recognize that no two Wyoming communities are exactly alike. Local governments should have a strong voice in decisions that affect their budgets, services, and future. The Legislature should focus on solving problems and providing communities with the tools they need to succeed.
3. Supporting Rural Communities and Quality of Life
Strong communities require access to healthcare, housing, education, infrastructure, and public safety services. Rural Wyoming faces unique challenges in each of these areas. I will work to improve access to affordable healthcare, address housing shortages, and ensure that communities have the resources necessary to maintain essential services while preserving Wyoming's traditions, values, and way of life.
