I grew up mostly in Casper and a bit in Gillette and have spent the majority of my adult life in Rock Springs. I have been influenced first by my hardworking, caring parents who also grew up in Wyoming. With their help, I gained many experiences in 4-H and various sports and All City Honor band. While in junior high, another peer and I were skipped ahead in Spanish and as a freshman, I was on the Varsity Track and Field team. I was involved with a committee to help build a skate park and worked on a petition to get a public transportation system while in high school.

Like many Wyoming families, mine was impacted by mental illness. The impact it had on me, first as a child then also as a young adult, to now… has given me many hard lessons that I now consider education that have helped me help others. For most of my young adult life, I held two jobs in food service industries while working to complete a college degree. I currently excavate and replace concrete.

The experience that I would bring to our school board is something that I already do everyday. I enjoy listening to anyone's stories in the store, on a job or on the phone.

I have volunteered in classrooms for close to twenty years now. Within my degree, I do have multiple courses geared towards education. I am also a past employee of our district as the Head Cook and for one summer as a janitor.

I am also a past president of the local soccer league.

I earned an Associates of Arts degree with an emphasis in Political Science in 2017. I also attended a Board Fundamentals Workshop in 2022 and received a Building Better Boards Certificate in 2024.

I am currently a member of our library board.

I ran in 2018 and many of the issues that I saw within our district, I still see today. We've changed Superintendents and board members a few times since then so my question is different now when I talk to voters. What and who needs help?
I am running, again to help.

My top three priorities will be:

Along with my fellow board members and Superintendent,

1. Restore confidence. I do believe that our district has many great qualities and I can't wait to remind people of them. To reach this goal, I would like to continue to hold more community talks in-between meetings and I'll try to work on getting on social media better.

2. Stay in touch with community partners to help fill gaps that our district may need. What I see happening now is partnering with various entities to get food to students who need it.

3. Be aware of what may affect our district at the state level and advocate on our behalf.
