Biography
I was born and raised in Sheridan on a ranch that was homesteaded by my great-grandfather. I went to school in Sheridan County School District #2. The opportunities I had and the education I received gave me quite an edge when choosing schools.
I went to college for music, which led me into music ministry, and eventually I became a full-time pastor, going back to school to become ordained. Along the way, I found my perfect match, the lovely Ashley, and we have had four dynamic children. Somewhere in there I also remodeled 12 homes trying to support our family.
We moved away from Sheridan in 2019 to pursue a job opportunity in eastern South Dakota. While we enjoyed the community of people and exploring new places, we were excited to be able to return to Sheridan in 2024 to be with family and to be able to raise our family in this community.

Why I am Running
Ashley and I are raising our four kids here, and what we want for them is what this community has always stood for: an affordable place to live, excellent schools, and neighbors who look out for each other. That’s worth stepping up for. I am a problem solver by nature and I work until a solution is found. So many great leaders have gone before to create a future that I am able to enjoy right now. I would like to give back and continue building on and defending that foundation for future generations.
Top 3 Priorities
Education: Our children deserve a quality education that prepares them for life, whether they choose college, the trades, military service, or a career right here in Wyoming. I support strong schools with local decision-making.
Jobs: Strong families need good jobs. I support policies that encourage economic growth, strengthen Wyoming businesses, and create opportunities for people to build a career and raise a family in our state.
Housing: Too many working families, young professionals, and retirees are struggling to find affordable housing. We need practical solutions that increase housing opportunities while preserving the character and quality of life that make Wyoming special.
