Born in Ft. Lauderdale and raised in South Florida, Ryan Shollenberger attended Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School before earning his degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida in Orlando.

Driven to serve, Ryan joined the Air Force in 2009 and has been stationed in Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana, Australia, and Wyoming. He deployed to Afghanistan and Colombia.

Looking to change his career, Ryan left active duty for the reserves. In Wyoming he has been a janitor, butcher, environmental clean-up worker, Weekend Meteorologist at Wyoming News Now in the wide array of jobs held. He currently is a teacher, soldier and wildland firefighter.

Ryan has diligently worked in many organizations and is more than capable to be a legislator for House District 11.

Ryan was an active duty Air Force Weather Forecaster for 12 years. He supervised airmen and an airfield at Ft. Bliss, TX. My leadership has grown as I am currently a Field Artillery officer with the Wyoming Army National Guard the last 4 years.

Ryan is a K-12 Substitute Teacher in LCSD1 since 2023. He has been to almost every school in the district. "An education is the most valuable tool for anyone to have, and I dedicate myself to nurturing the learning process."

I am running to be the change I want to be. Government has grown to exceed its original intent and I believe we paying for the problems it has caused. Government is able to grow at the expense of people for which this country was intended. Individual rights, property rights, and limited government is what makes strong citizens and prosperous communities. I am running to get the government out of your lives because decision making should be done among people, families, and neighborhoods where their votes are heard. Freer people is what makes them more prosperous. I will listen and legislate for my constituents and not be influenced by PACs and other organizations that have imposed their will to most government offices.

1. My most desired outcome would be to have greater participation and engagement in the legislative process for District 11. I will hold monthly Town Halls where important issues could be discussed with accompanying questions. This in itself would lead to transparency and accountability.

2. Second, I will remove barriers that inhibit constituents, property owners and small businesses to freely operate. A freer society is a more prosperous society.

3. Thirdly, I will give constituents the most effort from a legislator they have ever had. When I become involved in something, I become obsessive to perform at the highest level and I don’t accept anything less.
